The Prima Vista Lounge at Cagliari Elmas Airport is one of those spaces that, judging by its name, would seem to promise a welcoming, high-level experience. Unfortunately, the reality is quite different.
The environment feels cramped, little more than a furnished corridor, and it never conveys the sensation of being in a lounge truly designed for comfort. The LC2 armchairs by Le Corbusier are indeed comfortable, but that is where comfort ends. The overall impression is one of a makeshift adaptation rather than a space genuinely conceived for the traveler.

On the food front, the disappointment is complete: cheap, poor-quality sandwiches are all the lounge has to offer. In an airport located in Sardinia — a land renowned for extraordinary products — the culinary offering is almost offensive in its banality.
The picture is further marred by inefficient Wi-Fi, slow and unreliable, which undermines one of the main reasons why passengers choose to access a lounge in the first place: working or connecting without stress.
Yes, Cagliari is a small airport, but with significant seasonal traffic. Precisely for this reason, the absence of a lounge up to standard is even more noticeable. The airport would deserve a space capable of reflecting its identity and meeting the needs of its travelers. As it stands, the Prima Vista Lounge is not an added value, but a wasted opportunity.
