If you’re departing from Malta International Airport (MLA), taking a break at the La Valette Club Lounge adds real comfort and value to your journey. Located airside, past security, this lounge is the ideal retreat from the chaos of the terminal: refined interiors, full amenities, and excellent food.

The first thing you notice upon entering is the natural light, thanks to large windows offering a pleasant view of the aircraft apron. The setting is tasteful, understated, and elegant, with modern furnishings and a relaxed atmosphere. Even during busy hours, the staff remains courteous and efficient. The panoramic terrace is particularly charming.

What truly stands out is the quality of the culinary offering, focused on traditional Maltese dishes and presented with great attention to freshness and flavour. The ricotta pastizzi, warm and flaky, are a local classic executed to perfection. The lemon-marinated chicken skewers are tender and aromatic, while the lamb koftas with pomegranate seeds deliver a delightful balance of spice, impeccable cooking, and high-quality ingredients.
Also on offer is the ftira, Malta’s traditional flatbread, served with Mediterranean toppings, ideal for those seeking an authentic taste of the island. The entire selection is impressively well-prepared, with ingredients and presentation that rival those of a good restaurant.
